EVALUATION BRIEF / 01
A focused beginning for consumer brands

One range.
One journey.
An agreed test.

Explore a useful product entry connected to the team responsible for care. Keep the original question, its context and the recorded outcome together.

A sample scope for discussion. Live delivery, responsibilities and acceptance checks are agreed through a separate engagement.

The proposed journey

Brand-owned product entry → original customer question → care case → responsible role → reviewed response → recorded care outcome.

The initial boundary

One product range, one approved entry channel and one care team. Wider listening, quality investigations and field operations remain outside the initial scope.

What the brand brings

Approved product content, an existing care process, a care lead and a technical owner who can evaluate the handoff.

What the brief defines

Inputs, source rights, destination ownership, case states, failure recovery, acceptance checks, responsibilities and cost categories.

Useful questions before starting

  • Which customer problem is frequent enough to evaluate?
  • Which system owns the case and acknowledges receipt?
  • Which information is required, supplied or verified?
  • Who approves product information and customer responses?

OUTPUTS + ACCEPTANCE / 02
Progress follows evidence

Make each next step
easy to evaluate.

Timing and commercial commitments follow the agreed work, source access and integration complexity.

01

Frame the problem

Output: journey, source inventory and ownership map.

Gate: a named buyer, an operating team and a bounded use case.

Brand contributes: care lead, content owner and existing workflow.

02

Rehearse the journey

Output: product entry, case states and expected failure rehearsal.

Gate: representative users complete the flow and recover failures.

Brand contributes: approved examples and operator feedback.

03

Validate live boundaries

Output: authorised inputs, destination acknowledgement and control checks.

Gate: delivery, duplicate handling, access, export and recovery meet the agreed checks.

Brand contributes: system access, accountable owners and technical review.

04

Evaluate the evidence

Output: baseline comparison, operating costs and next-step recommendation.

Gate: the buyer can choose to iterate, extend or stop using documented evidence.

Brand contributes: an evaluation period and operator review time.

The public browser example is synthetic. It does not submit real care requests or demonstrate production identity, hosting, security controls or external integrations.

MEASURES + READINESS / 03
Use the baseline you can defend

Measure the work.
Keep the assumptions.

Assignment completeness

Of accepted cases, how many reached a named responsible role?

Context completeness

Which required details arrived, which were missing and which were verified?

Handling effort

How much active operator time did comparable cases require?

Recovery and reopening

Could the team recover failures and reopen a case without losing history?

Handling hours = monthly case count × average active handling minutes ÷ 60

A scenario calculation is arithmetic from chosen inputs. It is not a predicted product improvement or cash saving. Account for case mix, training, integration, source costs and exceptions.

Agree before live use.

Separate the cost categories.

Discovery and scope · implementation · recurring software and hosting · operational support · third-party sources or messaging. Amounts and commitments follow a separate proposal.
